People

Single professionals, young families, active seniors ... artists, CEOs, biotech scientists, software engineers, retired rockstars ... Marin's population is a blend. One thing many residents have in common? A love for the outdoors, a progressive mindset, and an appreciation for the mellowness that comes with life on this side of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Geography

Marin County is bordered by San Francisco to the South, the Wine Country to the North, the Pacific Ocean to the West, and the SF Bay to the East. Topography is varied: we have everything from rolling hills and a majestic mountain to secluded beaches, sprawling ranch land, and jagged coastal cliffs. Over 75% of Marin County is protected open space, so natural beauty is off the charts.

Weather

Like the topography, weather in Marin varies from area to area ... several microclimates can even be found within a single town. Short of snow, though, there is something for everyone - from foggy pockets of year round coastal moodiness to majorly sun-drenched areas perfect for warm summer nights.

Schools

A large part of Marin's population is made up of young families, and it's no surprise - the schools, both public and private, are truly top notch. Marin residents do not take this for granted ... Community support is evident, working relentless to assure every student has the opportunity to thrive.

Housing

Marin covers a large geographic area with a ton of variety, and our housing options reflect this. Prices tend to range from sweet $600k condos to sprawling estates that regularly yield upwards of $15m.
